Hi, I’m Ian, I moved to Australia in 2010 and navigated the complexities of migration and visas for several years before gaining my permanent residency in early 2010.
After living and working in Australia for the required four years, I sat the migration test, had my immigration interview and was granted citizenship. On Australia Day 2014, I became a proud Australian citizen at a citizenship ceremony in my home town.
Working with the United Kingdom Border Agency prior to moving to Australia, took me to many countries all over the world and introduced me to people from many different cultures and backgrounds. This variety has empowered me with excellent understanding and communication skills to assist with the complexities of moving to another country.
